Creative Process
To introduce JD Sports to the U.S. market and drive awareness of its new partnership with adidas, we set out to create a bold, high-profile event that would resonate with American mall culture while positioning JD Sports as a style authority. Our objective was to merge fashion, music, and experiential moments into one unforgettable brand introduction.
Mall of America, an iconic and high-traffic retail destination, became the stage for this launch. At the heart of the event was a live performance by Lauren Jauregui—an artist known for her individuality and cultural relevance—which drew in a diverse audience and generated buzz both on-site and online. Her presence amplified the event’s energy and lent star power to the partnership’s debut.
To showcase how JD Sports styles adidas’ classic footwear, we developed a dynamic runway show featuring curated looks from adidas Originals. Models brought streetwear and high-fashion to life in a way that was accessible, inspiring, and visually aligned with both brands’ aesthetics. The fusion of performance and fashion created a cultural moment that celebrated authenticity and style.
Interactive elements—including a customization zone and a live countdown to the main event—kept guests engaged and energized, building anticipation throughout the day. These touchpoints helped increase foot traffic, social sharing, and brand affinity, ultimately reinforcing JD Sports’ positioning as a new and exciting player in the U.S. retail landscape.
Mall of America
We transformed the iconic Rotunda at Mall of America into the centerpiece for our fashion show and live performance. To build anticipation and drive foot traffic, a bold countdown timer was displayed on the mall’s massive jumbotron, drawing eyes and curiosity in the hours leading up to the main event.
Runway Show
Before the live performance, a JD Sports fashion show hit the catwalk, spotlighting curated adidas Originals looks that blended streetwear with elevated style.




Influencer Impact
Model and influencer Ally Courtenall supported the event through on-the-ground content capture, extending our reach across social. Her post earned 1.6K likes, reached 13,374 users, and garnered 23,147 impressions, while her Stories reached a total of 71,392 accounts.
Lauren Jauregui Live
Lauren Jauregui headlined the event with an electrifying live performance that energized the crowd and kept them on their feet throughout. Her performance video received 161,660 views, 91,345 likes, and 19 comments, driving significant engagement.
Lace Locks & Lasting Impressions
As if the fashion show and live performance weren’t enough, the excitement continued with a customization experience that proved to be a major hit. Guests received free custom lace locks with every HOC purchase, adding a personal touch to their adidas gear.
